His show lowered the curtain on another Popular Artist series, which plays an important role in support of the <strong>Boston Symphony<\/strong>&#8216;s eight weeks of classical music at <strong>Tanglewood<\/strong>.  (<a href=\"\/rwc\/#more\">More reviews here -><\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Once the innocuous drummer of history&#8217;s luckiest band, now <strong>Ringo Starr<\/strong> is the nucleus of a band of pop and rock stalwarts. If the other night <strong>Judy Collins<\/strong> delivered big whiffs of Sixties nostalgia, then the succeeding decades were heavily evoked tonight by key personnel from <strong>Toto<\/strong>, <strong>Men at Work<\/strong> and <strong>Average White Band<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/idealpoetry.com\/rwc\/berkshires-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Ringo-at-Tanglewood_2-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band at Tanglewood, Sept. 5, 2022; Hilary Scott photo.\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1708\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25138\" \/><br \/>\nCombine the prominent role played by <strong>Edgar Winter<\/strong>, and you&#8217;ll see that Ringo&#8217;s ensemble is rooted firmly in the foundation of all pop music &#8211; unadorned rock &#8216;n roll. Goode<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the two hour show, Ringo regaled the audience, whether teeny bopper or hep cat, even engaging with fans up front, complementing someone&#8217;s tee shirt!
