Photo: Winslow Townson.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<p>Preceding the first of them is a weekend of programs, beginning with a Thursday-evening film screening of <em>Falling Down Stairs<\/em>, a 1997 collaboration between <strong>cellist Yo-Yo Ma and choreographer Mark Morris<\/strong>, featuring <strong>Bach\u2019s<\/strong> <em>Cello Suite No. 3<\/em> as a soundtrack.<\/p>\n<h3>Opening weekend of TLI programs <\/h3>\n<p>Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, amateur artists are given the opportunity to hone their skills in the fields of photography and painting with IS183 Art School of the Berkshires faculty artists. Later that day, 2\u20135 p.m., a multidisciplinary TLI OpenForum panel addresses the topic \u201cMastery in the DIY Era.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Presenters include violinist <strong>Yevgeny Kutik<\/strong> and master model ship builder <strong>Rob Napier<\/strong>. The weekend concludes with a Sunday 3 p.m. chamber music concert by BSO associate principal clarinetist <strong>Thomas Martin<\/strong>, BSO violist <strong>Michael Zaretsky<\/strong>, and pianist <strong>Randall Hodgkinson<\/strong> in works by <strong>Mozart, Schumann, and Bruch<\/strong>.
