Barrington Stage Company<\/strong>, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd<\/strong> and Producing Director Richard M. Parison, Jr.<\/strong>, has announced casting for its summer productions of Carousel<\/em> and A Streetcar Named Desire<\/em>, as part of the theater\u2019s 15th Anniversary Season.<\/p>\n

Carosel at BSC<\/h2>\n

The Mainstage season kicks off with Rodgers and Hammerstein\u2019s<\/strong> musical masterpiece, Carousel<\/em>, from June 17-July 11. Directed by Julianne Boyd, with choreography by Joshua Bergasse<\/strong> and music direction by Darren R. Cohen<\/strong>, the cast features Aaron Ramey<\/strong> (Paper Mill\u2019s 1776, Westchester Broadway Theatre’s Phantom, B\u2019way\u2019s Young Frankenstein, Thoroughly Modern Millie<\/em>) as Billy Bigelow<\/strong>, Patricia Noonan<\/strong> (the world premiere of Little House on the Prairie, WPPAC\u2019s How To Succeed\u2026and Ragtime<\/em>) as Julie Jordan<\/strong>, Christopher Innvar<\/strong> (BSC\u2019s Private Lives and Cyrano, B’way’s 110 in the Shade, Threepenny Opera<\/em>) as Jigger<\/strong>, Sarah Jean Ford<\/strong> (Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, the world premiere of Little House on the Prairie<\/em>) as Carrie Pipperidge<\/strong>, Todd Buonopane<\/strong> (NBC\u2019s 30 Rock, B\u2019way\u2019s Grease, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee<\/em>) as Mr. Snow<\/strong>, and Teri Ralston<\/strong> (the original casts of Company, A Little Night Music and The Baker\u2019s Wife<\/em>) as Nettie Fowler<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Also in the cast are Jeff Brooks<\/strong> (Broadway\u2019s Lend Me A Tenor, Beauty and the Beast<\/em>) as the Starkeeper<\/strong>, Leslie Becker<\/strong> (Roundabout\u2019s Nine and Wicked<\/em> tour) as Mrs. Mullins<\/strong>, Edmund Bagnell, Al Blackstone, Daniel Kermidas, Kaitlynn Kleinman, Christy Morton, Ronnie Nelson, Neal O\u2019Brien, Sarah O\u2019Gleby, Kristen Paulicelli and Peggy Pharr Wilson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Streetcar Named Desire at BSC<\/h2>\n

Three-time Tony nominee Marin Mazzie<\/strong> (Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime and Passion<\/em>) will star as Blanche DuBois<\/strong> opposite Christopher Innvar<\/strong> (see credits above) as Stanley<\/strong>, with Sara Surrey<\/strong> (Arena Stage\u2019s Anna Christie; Old Globe\u2019s Antony and Cleopatra<\/em>) as Stella<\/strong>, and Kevin Carolan<\/strong> as Mitch<\/strong> (The Ritz and Dirty Blonde<\/em>) in Tennessee Williams\u2019s<\/strong> A Streetcar Named Desire<\/em>, scheduled to run August 6-29. Also in the cast are Emily Boyd, Miles Jacoby, John Juback, Chavez Ravine, Thom Rivera and Elizabeth Rouse. Julianne Boyd<\/strong> directs.<\/p>\n

Complete casting for BSC\u2019s 15th Anniversary Season, which includes the Mainstage production of Sleuth<\/strong> and the Stage 2 world premiere of Mark St. Germain\u2019s Freud’s Last Session, Glen Berger’s Underneath the Lintel and Rob Broadhurst and Brent Black\u2019s new musical I\u2019ll Be Damned in BSC’s Musical Theatre Lab, will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
