After intermission, the <strong>Tanglewood Festival Chorus<\/strong> and mezzo-soprano <strong>Elena Manistina<\/strong> join the BSO for <strong>Prokofiev\u2019s<\/strong> <em>Alexander Nevsky cantata<\/em>, music originally written for <strong>Sergei Eisenstein\u2019s<\/strong> film of the same name. <\/p>\n<p>There will be a complete concert presentation of <strong>Bernstein\u2019s<\/strong> <em>Candide<\/em> on Saturday, August 16, with <strong>Bramwell Tovey<\/strong> leading the BSO and Tanglewood Festival Chorus, with vocalists soprano <strong>Anna Christy<\/strong>, mezzo-sopranos <strong>Kathryn Leemhuis<\/strong> and <strong>Frederica von Stade<\/strong>, tenors <strong>Nicolas Phan<\/strong> and <strong>Beau Gibson<\/strong>, and baritones <strong>Paul LaRosa<\/strong> and <strong>Richard Suart<\/strong>, as well as vocal soloists from the <strong>Tanglewood Music Center<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.berkshirelinks.com\/berkshires-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Delfeayo-Marsalis-345x290.jpg\" alt=\"Delfeayo Marsalisperforms with hius father Ellis Ozawa Hall Aug. 2014\" width=\"345\" height=\"290\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-13200\" \/>Swiss conductor <strong>Charles Dutoit<\/strong> leads the <strong>Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra<\/strong> on Sunday, August 17, for the <strong>Leonard Bernstein Memorial Concert<\/strong>. The TMC Fellows perform an all-Russian program featuring <strong>Stravinsky\u2019s<\/strong> <em>Scherzo fantastique<\/em> and the complete ballet score for <em>The Firebird<\/em>, as well as <strong>Rachmaninoff\u2019s<\/strong> <em>Piano Concerto No. 3<\/em>, with Russian pianist <strong>Nikolai Lugansky<\/strong>. This concert will feature songs from the album including both standards and original compositions.
