Parison, Jr.<\/strong>, Producing Director, and <strong>Mary Ann Quinson<\/strong>, President of the Board of Directors, Ms. Boyd emphasized the need for prudence in pointing out cost-cutting measures and the scheduling of two classics for Main Stage productions this summer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;2009 will be a new adventure for all of us in the non-profits. Due to the uncertain financial times, we&#8217;re consolidating our season and making sure we&#8217;re being as prudent as possible while offering the most exciting, compelling plays as possible,&#8221; said Ms. Boyd.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that &#8220;our job is to sell tickets,&#8221; Ms. Boyd defended the scheduling of the classics, remarking that they are nonetheless very demanding productions.
