<\/a>Mr. Hall was a guest on the 2008 broadcast of A Prairie Home Companion at Tanglewood, with Garrison Keillo<\/strong>r, which I reviewed here<\/a>. \nthe way we did, in churches, where weeping echoes
\noff walls or gets absorbed by pipe organ blasts,
\nwhile incense spirals from an acolyte\u2019s censer,
\nand the minister intones his woeful sound.<\/p>\n
\nback at the church hall there would be baked ham,
\ncasseroles, and pies, supplied by neighbors and aunts.<\/p>\n
\nhave laid out aromatherapy diffusers and flowers,
\nwe get right on with the afterparty and mingle,
\nnibbling fruit, veggies, and tiramisu, while a playlist,
