Barrington, to the <em> Festival of Trees<\/em> at the <strong>Berkshire Museum<\/strong>, <em>The Santaland Diaries<\/em> at <strong>Shakespeare &#038; Co.<\/strong> in Lenox, and the <strong>Berkshire Bach Society&#8217;s<\/strong> annual New Year&#8217;s Eve concert in Great Barrington.<\/p>\n<h2>Christmas in the Berkshires<\/h2>\n<p>Some Berkshires towns and organizations schedule special events during the Christmas and holiday season, including: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nov. 17 &#8211; Jan. 2, 2013 &#8211; Berkshire Museum Festival of Trees 2012: Myths &#038; Magic<\/li>\n<li>23rd annual <strong>Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas<\/strong>, November 30, December 1 &#038; 2, 2012 &#8211; featuring Caroling &#038; Luminaria Walk; Holiday Concert featuring the Berkshire Lyric Chorus and the Blafield Children&#8217;s Chorus at the First Congregational Church; Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas Recreation of Norman Rockwell painting.<\/li>\n<li>Dec.  7 &#8211; 9 &#8211; Lenox Caroling Festival Weekend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Barrington Stage Company presents Vincent Dec. 14 &#8211; 30, 2012<\/h2>\n<p><em>Vincent<\/em> is a one-man play about <strong>Vincent van Gogh<\/strong>, using his own words and those of his brother Theo. <strong>Leonard Nimoy<\/strong>, who wrote and originally performed Vincent, did years of painstaking research on the hundreds of letters between Vincent and Theo. Most of the story is told by Theo, but at times, the actor becomes Vincent and embodies the loving, passionate, combative, fierce, stubborn, outrageous, exasperating, moody, amazing, and brilliant man so cherished by his brother. This play is not simply a biographical work, but one filled with drama, conflict, humor and beauty.
