Popular venues and organizations schedule special holiday and Christmas events every year that may be of interest to people planning to visit the Berkshires. Some events are singular and some are annual favorites among Berkshire county residents as well as with tourists. The Mount, Musical Performance, Glitter & Gold: An Evening of Operatic & Holiday Favorites -December 3rd, 5:30pm
Celebrate the season with an evening concert of operatic excerpts and holiday favorites performed by the soloists of Theatre Street Productions. Founded by artistic director, Andrea Gregori in 2007, Theatre Street Productions has crafted a niche performing “living music history”, emphasizing the cultural heritage of America’s Gilded Age. Concerts are presented in historically significant venues and this season they will present an intimate performance in Edith Wharton’s drawing room at The Mount. Victorian Holiday Tea – December 4th, 4-6pm – $10 for members, $12 for non-members.
A Merry Nutcracker Tea -December 5th, 4:30pm – $18 member, $20 non-member, $7 children 5 – 17. Traditional and new dance themes will be combined when “A Merry Nutcracker Tea Party” is performed The performance will begin at 3:30pm. A Victorian holiday tea will followed. The Norman Rockwell Museum, A Special Holiday Evening – December 4th, 4-7pm

Wonder and reflection, finding joy, stopping for a moment to appreciate the simple beauty of a gentle snow, bring meaning to a season so often rushed. Join us for an evening of creativity, toothsome treats, and seasonal tales from gifted storyteller Carol Birch. At 5pm, Carol Birch, a lyrical storyteller like no other, weaves together a selection of tales reflecting many traditions, cultures, and real life miracles.
Berkshire Botanical Garden Holiday Marketplace – December 3 -5

Berkshire Theatre Festival presents a reading of A Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens – December 5th at 2:00pm

Based on Mary Pope Osborne’s Magic Tree House: A Ghost Tale for Christmas Time Directed by Travis G.
